WHAT TO EXPECT

Shipping, Delivery, and Lead Times

Our products are handcrafted, custom-made, and carefully crated to ensure they arrive in exceptional condition.

Due to the weight and size of concrete pieces, many orders are delivered curbside via freight and must be uncrated and moved by the customer. Production timelines and shipping logistics vary based on the item. For a smooth delivery experience, please explore the detailed information in the dropdowns below.

Local pickup (Kansas City area)

If you are near the Kansas City metro, contact us to arrange local pickup or local delivery options.

Production & lead times

All tables are made to order. Typical production time is approximately 6 weeks, but this may vary based on our current workload. Please contact us for an updated lead time before placing your order.

General delivery information

Your item will arrive securely crated and will be heavy.

Please note: Freight and ground carriers are only required to deliver the crate to your address. The driver will leave the crate at their discretion (curb, driveway end, parking lot, etc.). It is your responsibility to uncrate the product and move it to its final location.

Depending on the size and weight of your order, shipments are sent via Ground Service or Freight Carrier.

Standard shipping policies

Orders ship via standard shipping unless an alternative method is requested before purchase. Additional fees may apply and may be billed separately.

For orders outside the contiguous United States, please contact us for a shipping quote.

Curated Concrete is not responsible for shipping delays, missed delivery estimates, or any inconvenience or cost resulting from extended delivery times.

Once an order has shipped or is in the final stages of preparation, address changes are typically not possible. If the carrier permits an address change, any additional fees must be paid by the customer prior to delivery.

Ground shipping is used for small items such as: samples, small sinks, home goods, and brackets. Multiple small items may be palletized and shipped via freight if needed.

Failed delivery attempts

Most ground carriers (UPS, FedEx) attempt delivery up to three times. If delivery fails after multiple attempts, the package may be returned either to the carrier terminal or to Curated Concrete. Any additional shipping or reshipment fees will be billed to the customer.

Freight carrier shipments

Larger items are shipped palletized via freight carrier .

Residential Freight Deliveries: The freight company will usually call 24–48 hours prior to schedule a delivery window. You must be present for delivery. Missed appointments may result in additional redelivery fees.

Curbside Delivery: Freight carriers provide curbside delivery only. “Curbside” varies by location and may mean: at the curb/street, end of driveway, or parking lot drop. Drivers do not bring crates into garages, homes, or businesses. Drivers do not uncrate or move the product.

For heavy or large items, please plan to have additional helpers available during delivery.

Concrete pieces over 7’ 5” cannot be delivered to residential addresses by standard freight liftgates. These items must be picked up at the carrier’s freight terminal or shipped to a local moving company with a forklift or loading dock who will then deliver to your home.

Customers are responsible for arranging and paying the receiving/delivery company and providing Curated Concrete with accurate delivery contact information.

Curated Concrete is not liable for damage once the product is received and signed for by the third-party moving company.

Damaged merchandise

To ensure proper claims processing, please follow these steps:

Inspect the crate BEFORE signing. Look for visible damage to the crate or packaging. If damage is present: • Do NOT sign until the damage is noted with the carrier. For freight, the damage must be written on the Bill of Lading

Inspect the product within 48 hours. Even if the crate looks fine, please open it and check the product. Any internal damage must be reported to Curated Concrete within 48 hours.

Save all packaging. All crates, packaging, and damaged items must be kept until the claim is resolved. Carriers may request inspection.

Submit photos or return the product (if required). You may be asked to send photos or return the item so we can process the claim. Claims submitted after 48 hours may be denied by the carrier.
